The taste perceived in the mouth is a balance confirming the fruity nuances noticed in the fragrance. Chimay Premiere, also known as Chimay Red, is the oldest product in the Trappist brewery s lineup. It s a clear-brown color, with solid lacing that lingers with each sip. There s a medicinal seam that weaves throughout the core of caramel malt, red plum, cherry and brown sugar. Those core characteristics carry though to the palate, where medium carbonation lifts the sip, lending refreshment through the dry, spicy finish. Manneken--Brussel Imports.
